
So the WiiSpeak voice-chat mic which will allow you to chat to pals when playing Animal Crossing - even if (grr) you have to pay separately for the privilege of doing so - sits on top of your Wii’s sensor bar atop your telly, right? So what exactly is stopping it from picking up the noise from your telly instead of your conversations on the sofa? Nintendo EAD’s Katsuya Eguchi explains:
“There’s some noise filtering going on. It’s designed to pick up stuff other than what’s coming out of the TV. If you put this on your TV, if this was a regular microphone, you’d get your TV sound going in.....
